I'm putting this one in because it sounds kind of neat. COCA COLA CHICKEN. You need 4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, 1 cup of ketchup, 1 cup of Coca Cola, and 2 tablespoons of worcestershire sauce.
To make, place the chicken in a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix the ketchup, coca cola and worcestershire sauce then pour over the chicken. Cover and bake at 350 for fifty minutes.

You know, I am a big 'appetizer' person. I love stuff that is bite size so here we go. To make STUFFED MUSHROOMS , you need1 pound of large mushrooms, 1 cup of fine breadcrumbs, 2 tablespoons of margarine, melted and 2 slice of ham lunch meat, finely chopped.
To create these, remove the stems and inside of the mushrooms. Chop a few of the stems and mix them with the remaining ingredients. Stuff the mushrooms and place in a buttered casserole dish. Bake at 325 for fifteen to twenty minutes.
Next, JALAPENO BITES. You need 1 twelve ounce can of jalapeno peppers, 2 cups of grated cheddar cheese, 4 eggs beaten, salt, pepper and paprika.
To make, seed and chop the peppers (make sure you wear rubber gloves to do this, or buy them pre-cut), and place the peppers in a greased 9 inch pie plate. Sprinkle the cheese over the peppers. Pour the eggs, seasoned with the salt, pepper and paprika, over the cheese. Bake at 375 for about 22 minutes. Cut into small slices to serve.
I also think that GARLIC SHRIMP sounds good. You need 1 clove of garlic, minced, 2/3 cup of chili sauce, 1/2 pound of thin bacon strips and 1 pound of medium tiger shrimp, cooked.
First, add the garlic to the chili sauce and set aside for several hours.
When ready to make, broil the bacon on one side only, then cut in half. Dip the shrimp in the chili sauce and then wrap with half a bacon strip on the uncooked side out. Fasten with toothpicks and refridgerate. Just before serving, broil the shrimp until the bacon is crisp.
Or try TORTILLA ROLLERS. You need 1 eight ounce package of cream cheese, softened, 1 four ounce can of chopped black olives drained, 1 four ounce can of chopped green chilies, drained and 1 twelve ounce jar of salsa.
With a mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add black olives, green chilies and 1/4 cup of salsa. To serve, spread on flour tortillas, and roll up. Refridgerate for several hours and then slice into half inch slices. Insert a toothpick into each and dip in the remaining salsa.

How do you feel about desserts? Do you love them, but they take too much time? Try making this Strawberry Trifle. You need 1 five ounce package of French vanilla pudding mix, 2 cups of fresh strawberries,1 ten ounce loaf pound cake and a 1/2 cup of sherry.
Make the pudding as instructed on the package. Next, place a layer of pound cake slices in the bottom of an eight inch crystal bowl. Sprinkle with half of the sherry, then add a layer of strawberries. Next add a layer of half of the pudding. Repeat these layers, then refrigerate overnight or at least several hours.
Here's one for me! Emergency Cheesecake! You need 1 eight ounce package of cream cheese, softened, 1 can of sweetened condensed milk, 1/2 cup of lemon juice, a graham cracker crust (you can buy these at the grocery store), pie filling (your choice) and 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
You blend all the ingredients in a mixer and pour into the graham cracker crust. Refrigerate! Serve with the pie filling on top.

So I tried the Honey Spiced Pork Chops and they were fantastic! They cook up tender and juicy. The only thing I didn't do, was cut down the recipe accordingly.I only used two chops and ended up with a lot of extra sauce. Ah well. Live and learn right? At any rate, I highly recommend trying them. Yummy!

I'm posting a few ideas for dips for the cast party Friday night at the loft. If you want to make a specific one for the party, or have a request for me to make one, please give me a 'shout out'.
The first dip is Cream Cheese Dip. For this, you need 1 eight ounce package of cream cheese, softened, 1 1/2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 package of dry onion soup and 1 eight ounce carton of sour cream.
To make, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Blend in the lemon juice and onion soup mix. Gradually fold in the sour cream until well blended. Chill and serve with chips, crackers or fresh veggies.
The next is Fiesta Onion Dip. This one requires 1 package of dry onion soup mix, 1 fifteen ounce can of Mexican stewwed tomatoes, 2 teaspoons of chili powder and 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese.
In a small saucepan heat the soup mix, tomatoes and chili powder. Bring to a boil, and then turn the heat down. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. To serve, pour into a serving bowl and sprinkle with the cheese. Stir before serving and serve with chips.
Lastly, Creamy Dill Dip. You need 1 cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of fresh green onions, finely chopped, 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt, and 1 1/2 teaspoons of dill.
To make this dip, mix all the ingredients and chill.
This is a recipe I can't wait to try. Lemonade Chicken! You need 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, 1 six ounce can of frozen lemonade, thawed, 1/3 cup of soy sauce, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder.
Place the chicken in a greased baking dish. Combine the lemonade, soy sauce and garlic powder and pour it over the chicken. Cover with foil and bake for 350 for 45 minutes. After the 45 minutes, uncover and pour the juices over the chicken. Cook for another 10 minutes uncovered, and then serve.
A nice addition to the chicken, I think, would be Herb Seasoned Vegetables. For this, you need 1 fourteen ounce can of seasoned chicken broth with Italian herbs, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 sixteen ounce package of frozen vegetables and 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese.
To make, heat the broth, garlic and vegetables to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat for 5 minutes or until tender-crisp. Then drain. Place in a serving dish and sprinkle with cheese.
Have you ever wanted to spice up your regular breakfast routine? Well, try Bacon and Egg Burritos. It easy. You need 2 strips of bacon, cooked and chopped, 2 eggs scrambled, 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and 1 flour tortilla.
Put all the ingredients in the center of the tortilla and fold the sides over. You can add salsa or taco sauce, if you like. Place on a dish, seam down and microwave for 30 seconds.
For something a little fancier, try the Sunrise Tacos. You need 4 eggs, scrambled, 1/2 cup of grated, cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of salsa and 2 flour tortillas.
For each taco, spread 1/2 of each ingredient on the taco and roll up. Done!
Or how about Bacon Cheese Stromboli? You need 1 ten ounce tube of refridgerated pizza dough, 3/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 3/4 cup of shredded, mozzarella cheese and 6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled.
On an ungreased baking sheet, roll the dough into a 12 inch circle. On one half of the dough, sprinkle the cheese and bacon. Fold the dough over, and pinch the edges to seal. Bake at 400 for about 10 minutes or until golden. Cut into slices and serve with salsa.
Enjoy!

This afternoon I'm going to give a couple recipes for side dishes.
The first is Corn Au Gratin. You will need 3 cans of mexicorn, drained, 1 four ounce can of sliced mushrooms, drained, 1 ten & a half ounce can of cream of mushroom soup and I cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
This one is so simple to make. Mix all the ingredients in a sauce pan and heat slowly until the cheese is melted. Serve hot.
The second reciped is Ranch Mashed Potatoes. You need 4 cups of instant, unsalted mashed potatoes, prepared, 1 packet of ranch style dressing mix. (The Hidden Valley Ranch mix is a good choice.) and a 1/2 stick of margarine.
To make, just combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and heat on low until the potatoes are thoroughly heated.
While I'm at it, I may as well throw in an entree. How does Honey Spiced Pork Chops sound? You need 6 pork chops, 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 1/4 cup of chili sauce and a 1/2 cup of honey. (Please note, you don't neccessarily have to use 6 pork chops. These recipes are easily cut down.)
To make, place the pork chops in a greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan. In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, chili sauce and honey. Pour the mixture over the pork chops. Cover and bake at 325 for about 55 minutes.
